The First Fifty Films
I am fifty-two films into my goal of seeing one hundred films this year. To celebrate, I've compiled posters of each of the first fifty films I've watched this year (excluding Jean Renoir's silent film La Fille de L'eau, or Whirlpool of Fates). As you will see, this is an eclectic mix of genres, cinematic eras, and poster designs- for the classic films I tended to choose the original poster designs, but you'll also see some newly-designed, often minimalist graphics done by independent artists.
